| Thursday, 17 January, 2002, 14:28 GMT Man charged over airport weapons The man was attempting to fly to Seattle A racing driver instructor from Nottinghamshire has been charged with carrying offensive weapons into Heathrow Airport. Police said the incident is not believed to be be terrorist-related. Ian Hugh Gordon Ashley, 54, from Farndon, Newark, was charged after being stopped by security staff at Terminal 4 on Wednesday. Mr Ashley has been bailed to appear at Uxbridge magistrates court on 1 February.
