Picture gallery: London to Brighton car run
The annual London to Brighton Veteran Car Run got under way on Sunday 4 November, with hundreds of pre-1905 vintage cars taking part.

The car run was first staged in 1896 to celebrate the Locomotives on the Highway Act, which raised the national speed limit from four to 14mph.
