Minister on A-level results

Higher Education Minister David Lammy has spoken to the BBC's Claire Marshall about this year's A-Level results at the UCAS call centre in Cheltenham.

Students have gained a record-breaking number of As at A-level in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

The improvement in grades will is expected to add to pressure on university places.
