Admissions system 'will be fair'

Schools Secretary Ed Balls has made an assurance that the secondary school admissions process will give everyone a chance to go to a good local school.

Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Mr Balls said that although there was still more to do, he was 'fighting' to make the new code fair, and for it to be implemented in every school.
