Secondary schools admissions data | | Many thousands of pupils applying to secondary school last year in England were not offered a place at their first choice, according to figures obtained by the Conservative Party. The table below shows the percentages of students gaining admission to their first preference or choice of school. Percentages for those who gained admission to one of their preferred list of schools are shown in the second column. Figures were not available for all local authorities.
