An anti-bullying campaign featuring posters on buses has been launched in Northern Ireland on Monday. The Western Education and Library Board is behind the move which also co-incides with the publication of its anti-bullying policy.
It is thought to be the first such campaign by an education board in the province.
The new Children's Commissioner for Northern Ireland, Mr Nigel Williams, officially launched the poster campaign and policy in Omagh library.
The posters will run on all Western Education Board buses from Limavady to Fermanagh.
In October, a survey suggested that a quarter of 10 and 11-year-olds experience some form of bullying at school.
However, the Schools Health Education Unit, an independent statistics group, said the overall level of the problem has declined steadily over the past five years.
