Farm brings home the bacon
News image
One of the plucky Tamworth Two
News image
Britain's two most famous pigs, who saved their bacon in a dramatic abattoir escape, have found a new home.

Butch and Sundance became known as the Tamworth Two when their dash for freedom in January captured the nation's imagination.

The hero pigs spent six weeks in the wild
The plucky porkers had been due for the chop until they fled as they were unloaded from a lorry at the slaughterhouse in Wiltshire.

They then swam across a river and spent six weeks on the run and in the wild before being caught by police.

Photographers from across the world travelled to Wiltshire to snap the famous pigs, who were hailed as stars for their bravery.

Their owner decided to reprieve them from their death sentence and, since then, the pair have been living a life of luxury in an animal sanctuary.

Now they have been sent to a new home, the Badsell Park Farm at Matfield, near Tunbridge Wells in Kent.
