Stay away, Welsh tell Posh and David
Posh Spice Beckham
No welcome in the hillsides for Posh Spice and David Beckham
Welsh nationalists have vowed to stage a protest following reports that Posh Spice Victoria Adams and her fianc David Beckham have bought a holiday home in North Wales.

It is thought the pop star and the England and Manchester United footballer, who plan to marry next year, have found a luxury property in Abersoch.

But Gareth Kiff, chairman of the Welsh Language Society, says rich outsiders are driving up the price of housing for local people without contributing to the local economy.

He says locals are forced to leave their Welsh-speaking communities as a result.

The society says the nature of the protest is being kept secret, although it will be consistent with its policy of non-violent direct action.

In the past this has involved the daubing of campaign slogans on buildings in white paint.
