HMS Albion picks up troops and some tourists in Spain

HMS Albion picked up British troops from Santander, in northern Spain, whose return home from Afghanistan was interrupted by the flight ban caused by the volcanic ash cloud.

The ship also picked up around 300 British tourists - but many had to be left behind.
