Passengers on ash flight problems

Passengers in Belfast and Manchester have spoken of their disappointment at flight cancellations because of the ash cloud from an Icelandic volcano, although many said they understood that safety was a priority.

The Air Traffic Control Service (Nats) said no flights would be allowed in or out of UK airspace until 1800BST amid fears of engine damage.
