The strike by British Airways cabin crew has entered its second day and both sides say they have the upper hand.
The Unite trade union said half of BA's 250 planes had been grounded on the first day of the three-day stoppage.
But BA says it reinstated flights because so many cabin crew showed up to work. The airline says 97% of cabin crew due to work at Gatwick did so on Saturday, as did half the cabin crew at Heathrow.
Air transport consultant John Strickland says both sides are right to be claiming victory.
