David Beckham's dream of playing in a fourth World Cup looks to be over after he tore an Achilles tendon in AC Milan's 1-0 win over Chievo on Sunday.
He is scheduled to arrive in Finland on Monday to undergo surgery at the Helsinki clinic of knee specialist Dr Sakari Orava.
Sports therapist Ellie Steele explains how a torn Achilles tendon can be repaired and how long Beckham is likely to be off the pitch.
