The head of the Armed Forces has praised the work of British troops taking part in Operation Moshtarak.
The offensive is part of a campaign to drive the Taliban out of some of its most entrenched strongholds in Afghanistan.
Speaking during a visit to Helmand, Air Chief Marshal Sir Jock Stirrup said the first phase of the operation had "gone really well".
