Nato forces to target the Taliban in Helmand province

Nato's planned offensive in the south of the country will "confront the insurgency", Britain's most senior military figure in Afghanistan has said.

Lt Gen Nick Parker, who is the deputy commander of Nato's forces, was speaking to Martha Kearney, the presenter of Radio 4's The World At One.
