Snowy conditions grip the UK

Snowfall is causing travel disruption across parts of the UK, with more heavy showers forecast.

Extreme weather warnings have been issued for north-west England, Yorkshire and Humber, the Midlands, east and south-west England.

Wales was the worst hit area on Tuesday with substantial snow in the middle of the country and the Brecon Beacons in the south.
