Heavy snow is causing problems for millions of people across the UK - with the south and south-east of England hardest hit.

Gatwick and Luton airports had to be closed for several hours overnight with up to 20 centimetres of snow falling.

Hundreds of drivers were forced to spend the night in their cars and thousands of homes are still without power. The Met Office is warning of more snow to come.

Tom Symonds reports.
