Lessons in using the internet safely are set to become a compulsory part of the curriculum for primary school children in England from 2011.
They will be one element of a new government strategy being unveiled called "Click Clever, Click Safe".
The idea is to stop children revealing personal information to strangers online and to report any unsuitable content they may come across.
