The BBC's Alison Freeman reports from Keswick in the Lake District which has been hit by floods.
Cumbria has borne the brunt of heavy rain in northern England with the village of Shap witnessing 40mm (1.6in) in 12 hours and Keswick 30mm (1.2in) of rain.
