Hundreds of people gathered in London for a Remembrance service have fallen silent in honour of the men and women killed in conflicts past and present.
After the two-minute silence at 1100GMT, the Queen laid a wreath at the Cenotaph in Whitehall.
The prime minister, military and religious leaders and Commonwealth representatives were also present at the event.
