The Home Secretary Alan Johnson has said: 'We do not tolerate anti social behaviour, we tackle it.'

His comments come after the actions of police and two councils were partly to blame for the deaths of a mother and her disabled daughter.

The jury at the inquest decided Mrs Pilkington, 38, committed suicide and unlawfully killed her daughter Francecca Hardwick, 18.

Mr Johnson said the police and councils had "some hard lessons" to learn.
