Richard Curtis on Izzard's 'fantastic' feat

Film director Richard Curtis has paid tribute to Eddie Izzard after the success of his marathon challenge for Sport Relief.

The comedian covered about 1,100 miles on his route across the UK, running 43 marathons in 51 days.

Richard Curtis, one of the founders of Comic Relief and Sport Relief, said it was a ''fantastic'' achievement and promised more feats of endurance in future.
