At the Netmedia awards ceremony on Thursday evening, it won outright in the categories for Best News Story (The Kosovo Conflict), Best News Story Broken On The Net (Paddington Rail Crash), and best Sports coverage.
And it shared the award for Best Overall Journalism Service.
It was the first year that the awards have been open to European journalists and the competition received more than 200 entries from 16 countries.
However the ceremony took place without the attendance of the man named as the European Internet Journalist of the Year, Miroslav Filipovic.
Jailed
Mr Filipovic is in jail after writing about the operations of the Yugoslav military in Kosovo during and after the Nato bombing campaign and on the plight of Serbians and Albanians in the aftermath of the conflict.

The organiser of NetMedia 2000 and the European Online Journalism Awards, Milverton Wallace, said: "For the open-minded reporter new technologies open up the possibilities of experimenting with new newsgathering and story-telling techniques.
"Our modest aim with the European Online Journalism Awards is to help provide the ground on which the new standards will be mapped."
This is BBC News Online's latest award in a string of successes, including two Baftas, the British Press Award, the Prix Italia and The Net magazine award as the world's best news site.
On Wednesday evening this week, BBC News Online journalist Dr Damian Carrington won a prestigious Glaxo Wellcome - Association of British Science Writers award in the online category for a series of reports on the Ariane 5 rocket launch, all filed from French Guiana.
BBC News Online publishes over 300 stories every day and has an archive of over a million news items.
