Winner pays tribute to Richardson

Director Michael Winner has paid tribute to Natasha Richardson who has died from head injuries sustained in a skiing accident in Canada.

Richardson, 45, the daughter of actress Vanessa Redgrave, fell on a beginners' slope at the Mont Tremblant resort in Quebec on Monday.

Michael Winner described Richardson as a grounded 'wonderful person' who had an enormous spirit that came through on the stage.

Winner has said Richardson 'could have been the Judi Dench of the future'.
