Tony Benn on BBC's Gaza decision

A demonstration has been held in protest at the BBC's decision not to broadcast an appeal for aid to the people of Gaza.

The Disasters Emergency Committee - an umbrella organisation for several major aid charities - launched the appeal to raise funds for people in need of food, shelter and medicines as a result of Israel's military action in the Gaza Strip.

The veteran Labour politician Tony Benn criticised the BBC for their decision.
