Pay cuts expected in year of job losses

Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to be made redundant in 2009 year as the down turn deepens and people who stay in work could face salary freezes or even pay cuts.

David Frost Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce says this shows how far some firms will go to avoid laying people off.
