Shoplifters 'taking bread and milk'

Sergeant Mick Thorpe of Peterborough City Centre Police said there has been an increase in first time shoplifters.

He told the BBC that one reason for this could be the economic downturn, as people were 'struggling to pay for the necessities in life'.
