Unseen footage of Queen found

Rare colour film of the Queen before she came to the throne has been uncovered.

Showing Princess Elizabeth at the private Christening of one of her Godsons, the footage is believed to date back to 1950.

A BBC producer looking for pictures from World War II discovered the unlabelled film in a car boot.

The film has now been donated to Screen Archive South East in Brighton who will ensure that it never gets lost again.
