Molly Boyle: Lucky escape

The 24-year-old driver suffered multiple injuries, but they are not said to be life-threatening.

He has not yet been able to tell officers what caused the crash.

The BMW went out of control at Yalding, Kent, at 0600 BST on Wednesday.

It crashed into the bungalow's front wall sending bricks and rubble flying.

Molly's father Alan, 33, a civil servant, and his wife Carol, 38, were in their bedroom at the other end of the house.

"We heard a loud bang at around 6am where the car hit the wall while Molly was in bed," said Mr Boyle.

"Luckily she was crying so we knew she was alive."

The girl was sleeping by a wall on the far side of her small bedroom.

Shelves and a TV were thrown around the room

Marks can be seen on the wall where bricks were thrown after the impact.

They landed just inches above Molly's head.

The BMW came to rest just feet from her bed after going through the wall sending shelves and a TV flying.

Mr Boyle said: "We just thank God that nothing hit her that hard. She does not realise the enormity of it, that she could have lost her life."

"I am honestly amazed that the driver and Molly are both alive."

He added that his family had moved to the village from north London for a "quiet life".
