Fallon is a six times champion jockey |
Jockey Kieren Fallon and 10 other people have appeared in court over allegations of race-fixing. At the City of London Magistrates' Court, 41-year-old Mr Fallon spoke only to give his name, age and address.
He appeared alongside jockeys Fergal Lynch and Darren Williams, both 28. All deny conspiracy to defraud customers of internet betting exchange Betfair.
All 11 defendants were released on unconditional bail. They will appear at Southwark Crown Court at a future date.
The date for the case to be heard at Southwark has still to be set.
Monday's court appearance was the first time Mr Fallon, a six-times champion jockey, and the 10 other defendants appeared in court over the allegations.
The 11 were charged by the City Of London Police earlier this month.
Mr Fallon, Mr Lynch and Mr Williams have been banned from British racing by the Horseracing Regulatory Authority until after the trial, but they deny any wrongdoing.
