Rail travellers to and from west London have been warned to expect disruptions for several days, following the horrific train crash near Paddington Station.

A special timetable has been set up to provide substitute travel services while the Paddington line remains closed.

Commuters who would normally travel to Paddington are advised to travel to Waterloo or Ealing Broadway stations instead.

There will be a limited bus service between Paddington and Waterloo and Paddington and Ealing Broadway.

A half-hour shuttle train service will run from Ealing Broadway to Reading, calling at all stations. It is expected to increase to every 15 minutes during peak times.

A full timetabled service will be offered to and from Reading to Bedwyn, Basingstoke, Stratford-upon-Avon, and Hereford.

The Reading-Gatwick service will run as normal.

Between Reading and Oxford a half-hourly shuttle service will be running, calling at all stations.

Between Slough and Oxford a fast half-hourly shuttle service will be running.

The Heathrow Express service is running to and from Ealing Broadway station, instead of Paddington, every half an hour rather than every 15 minutes, until further notice.

The Paddington stop on the London Underground has not been affected by the crash.

Train information is available on 0345 48 49 50.

First Great Western Trains can be contacted on 01793 526100.

Thames Trains Customer Services can be contacted on 0118 908 3678.
