BBC Security Correspondent Frank Gardner's full time job is to report the war on terror.
But last June he became one of its victims. While on assignment in Saudi Arabia, he and his cameraman, Simon Cumbers, were attacked by gunmen.

Simon was killed but Frank - despite being hit by six bullets - survived.
As he returns to work for the BBC, Fiona Bruce speaks to Frank about that day, the doctors who battled to save his life and the legacy of his traumatic experience.
