Prince William has recently graduated from St Andrews University |
Prince William will join the HSBC bank as part of his post-university work experience, it has been announced. The prince will spend three weeks shadowing staff, mostly in the charity services division.
Clarence House said it had been looking for a successful bank where the prince could experience a range of activities.
The prince joins HSBC - the world's second biggest bank - in early November, but will also be visiting other institutions.
'Really appealed'
Prince William has recently undertaken land management experience on a country estate, and is also set to spend time with a mountain rescue team.
He said this "really appealed" to him, because: "I can learn at first hand how these amazing people help save lives on a regular basis."
William passed entry examinations for Army officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in June and is expected to join the prestigious college next year.
