The princes watched the Northern Hemisphere team lose |
Princes William and Harry braved chilling conditions to watch the tsunami charity rugby match at Twickenham on Saturday. They joined a crowd of more than 40,000 watching teams from the northern and southern hemispheres.
Prince William donned a black cap pulled low, while brother Harry - who had watched England win the World Cup in Australia - wore a baseball cap.
The Southern Hemisphere team won the game 54 to 19.
The match, which is thought to have been watched by a TV audience of 160 million around the world, is expected to raise between 2m and 4m for tsunami relief funds.
Australia's captain George Gregan led the victorious Southern Hemisphere team, while former England player Lawrence Dallaglio led their rivals.
Prince Harry, who had caused controversy by turning up to a recent fancy dress party in a Nazi uniform, is due to begin his officer training at Sandhurst in May.
