A series of events across the UK on October 21-23 is due to be unveiled, marking the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar. Bruno Peek, chairman of the Trafalgar Weekend, will outline the plans on board the Master Mariners' Company's vessel HQS Wellington in London.
It follows a number of events to commemorate the anniversary this year.
The British under Lord Nelson won a decisive naval battle against the French and Spanish in the battle.
In June thousands of spectators watched a Battle of Trafalgar re-enactment off Portsmouth.
They were also treated to a series of sail-pasts and air displays by the Red Arrows and vintage aircraft.
