"Violent feuding and the emergence of a far more extreme leader seem distinctly possible", suggests the Daily Mail.

Iraq deaths
The Independent and Guardian report a study that suggests at least 100,000 Iraqi civilians have been killed since the US-led invasion of the country.
The Daily Telegraph says senior officers in the Black Watch battle group being redeployed in Iraq have questioned the government's strategy.
"I am not sure it full understands the risks," one is quoted as saying.
Meanwhile the Daily Mirror says the troops are "furious at the order to bail out the US".
On the run
The Financial Times reports plummeting profits at car maker Mercedes, where "persistent poor quality" has delayed the launch of new models.
The Sun says new Metropolitan Police commissioner Sir Ian Blair "made a good start yesterday" with a pledge to "root out terrorists before they strike".
The Daily Star says a judge has "struck a blow against loan sharks" by wiping out a couple's �384,000 debt.
It says the judge has "cowboy money lenders on the run".
'Asphalt-crazy'
The Guardian suggests there was "some spluttering into champagne glasses last night" when a top architectural award went to the A650 Bingley relief road.
With a book about roundabouts set to become a best-seller, the Independent asks: "Has Britain gone asphalt-crazy?"
The Daily Mail says the halting of production at the Branston Pickle factory due to a fire has "spread alarm among millions of Branston addicts around the world".
The Daily Express says Chris Evans has offered �4.5m to buy his local pub.
