Church services have been held in her memory, and preparations have been made for her funeral service on Tuesday. ![]() At dawn, troops practised the 300-yard funeral procession from Westminster Hall to Westminster Abbey ![]() More than 100,000 people had filed through the hall by Sunday, with queues stretching several miles ![]() The queues were bigger on Sunday than they had been on Friday or Saturday, with 70,000 waiting at one point ![]() The Duke of York and his daughters Beatrice and Eugenie turned up to chat to queuers and volunteers ![]() A special service of commemoration at St Paul's gave thanks for the Queen Mother's "zest for life" ![]() Boys from Westminster School Choir rehearsed in Westminster Abbey for Tuesday's funeral service ![]() Yeoman of the Guard replaced the Welsh Guards to stand vigil over the Queen Mother's coffin ![]() Police praised the crowds as being quiet, polite, respectful and a pleasure to deal with ![]() Some of those paying tribute were visibly moved, while all said the long wait was worthwhile |
