Da Vinci period assassin

Assassin's Creed 2 developer Jade Raymond says Leonardo Da Vinci's inventions enhance the game's plot.

Set during the Italian Renaissance, the lead character uses a range of tools of the period, including a flying machine that the painter and inventor drew up plans for.

The game has been previewed at the E3 gaming convention in Los Angeles.
