BBC transport correspondent Tom Symonds learns how to save fuel and money behind the wheel in a class with AA instructor John Pollock.

Tom is at the wheel of one of the cars in the Miles Per Gallon Marathon that starts on Wednesday 8th October.

The winner will not be the fastest driver, but the most economic one.
