You have been sending us your pictures of floods and heavy rain in Scotland. This picture shows the River Nith after it burst its banks in Dumfries. It was taken by Thomas Mushet.
Thomas also spotted this commuter on the pavement as he was trying to plough through the flooded waters of the river to get to work.
Lesley Gibb lives in the Cairn Valley. She took this picture and says they were cut-off by the chest-high waters and floating cars. Her husband had to get a tractor ride across the fields to get home on Friday morning after being stranded at work.
Sally Butler in New Galloway: �Here is a picture of someone who thinks they can turn their car into a boat. There is at the moment, no way in or out of the village unless you have a 4x4.�
Steven Kerr sent this picture of the River Tweed flowing through the centre of Peebles. He says at the time the river had dropped by around two feet from the night before.
