When the Berlin Wall fell in November 1989, parts of it were chipped off and taken away by locals and tourists. Some people took segments as souvenirs and some pieces were given to institutions around the world.
Use this interactive map to see how far the wall has spread around the globe, and where large sections of it are on public display.

BBC News readers have been sending us their stories and pictures of their own pieces of the Berlin Wall.
They have also helped us map where the Berlin Wall is by sending us their photographs of sections of the Wall that are on display around the world.
The map has been centred over the UK to view the stories more easily. Use the zoom out icon on the left hand side of the map to see where the wall is across the world.
