Gordon Brown has had a packed schedule on his second state visit to America. But his arrival has coincided with the Pope's first trip to the US.

Mr Brown has focussed on the global credit crunch, meeting Wall Street Bankers on Wednesday. The prime minister also raised the issue of Zimbabwe at the UN.

On Thursday, he met George Bush as well as presidential hopefuls Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton and John McCain. Mr Brown will deliver a key-note speech on foreign policy on Friday.

BBC's political editor Nick Robinson has been in the US during the PM's trip and will answer a selection of questions from BBC readers on News24.

How has the prime minister gone down well in the US? Has his trip been overshadowed by the Pope's? Is the "special relationship" strong and getting stronger, as Brown suggests?
