National Lottery
Where should the proceeds of the lottery be spent?
Since its inception, the National Lottery has funded projects to the tune of almost �12bn.

However, the distributing bodies have been accused of favouring elitist projects, supporting political causes and showing a bias towards London.

In their defence, the distributors point to huge donations to charitable causes across the country.

As the government prepares to amend the guidelines for the distribution of lottery money, what do you think about the use of lottery funds?
