Afghan drug addiction said to have doubled

Drug addiction in Afghanistan has doubled in the past four years, according to a UN report.

The country supplies most of the opium sold worldwide.

But increasingly it is Afghans that are turning to drugs to escape the poverty and suffering of 30 years of war.
