Abdullah decision 'very unfortunate'

Abdullah Abdullah's decision to withdraw from the second round of the Afghan presidential election must not be allowed to "alter the process', President Hamid Karzai's spokesman has said.

Waheed Omar's comments came after Dr Abdullah told his supporters that his demands for ensuring a fraud-free election had not been met.
