A Pakistani army spokesman has given an update on the offensive against militant fighters, in South Waziristan.
The army is continuing its drive against al-Qaeda and the Taliban. According to the spokesman, Major General Athar Abbas, nine soldiers and 78 militants have been killed since Saturday.
