The United Nations has rejected accusations by its former number two in Afghanistan, Peter Galbraith, that the UN mission there is biased in favour of President Hamid Karzai.
Mr Galbraith was sacked last week but in a BBC interview he expressed concerns over the handling of allegations of fraud in the Afghan elections.
