Pakistan reinstates sacked judge

Pakistan's government has said a sacked Supreme Court chief justice, Iftikhar Chaudry, will be reinstated.

Hundreds gathered outside Mr Chaudry's house to celebrate following the announcement, and a planned opposition rally in Islamabad has been called off.
