'House arrest' for Pakistan's Sharif

The leader of the opposition in Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, has been put under house arrest, although the interior minister has said he is free to move where he wants.

Journalist Zahid Hussain, who writes for The Times and the Wall Street Journal, said he thought President Zardari was "losing his hold on the government" as unrest in the country grows.
