A series of explosions on trains have killed scores of people across India's financial capital, Mumbai. Rafique Nagori was on the train that arrived at Mahim station minutes before a bomb exploded on the following train.

I reached Mahim station at 6pm. I think I was on the train before the one which exploded. I was just outside the station, when I heard a very loud noise. It was unlike anything I had heard before in my life. I knew something was wrong. It was very scary
People were running and shouting. I stopped a passer-by, who was a passenger on that train. He said there had been an explosion, a bomb blast in the first-class compartment.
He said that many of his fellow passengers were badly injured.
People didn't know what to do. There was so much confusion. It was chaos unlike anything I had seen before.
I was there to meet my relative and so we went to his place as we didn't know if there would be more explosions.

The police are there now and it is like a curfew situation. It was a time when trains were packed, hundreds in every compartment. Office workers just like me were on these trains on their way home.
If I had left five or ten minutes later, I would have been on that train. I can only thank God that I am here today and I am alive.
