A senior Maoist factional leader from Bangladesh has been found dead in the Indian state of West Bengal. Officials identified him as Manoranjan Gosai Mrinal, the chairman of the New Revolutionary Communist Party of Bangladesh. He had been shot dead.
Maoist rivals are suspected of killing Mr Mrinal and his deputy, who was shot dead in the state earlier this month.
The two men faced more than 100 cases of murder in Bangladesh and fled to India earlier this year, reports say.
